Apex Digital plans to have available a complete line-up of televisions in several ranges: the Standard Series (4 models: 13", 20", 25" and 27" screens), Stereo Series (same screen sizes but with MTS Stereo), GT Series (pure flat screens in 20", 24", 27" and 32" sizes), Premium pure flat screen series (same screen sizes as GT, but adding universal remote control, component inputs, three line comb filter), HDTV Series (one 27" model, progressive scan, 3D comb filter, compatible with all 18 digital formats up to 1080i and displaying in 480p), Projection Wide Screen HDTV Series (two models, 55" and 60", 16:9, HD upgradeable, 1080i/720p/480p, progressive scan with 3:2 pull down), the Projection HDTV Series (43" and 51" screens, 4:3, 1080i/480p, progressive scan with 3:2 pull down) and the Projection TV series. The model shown is from this last series - the GB-4308. This is the 43" model (there is also a 51"). It is a 4:3 display, has a dual tuner PIP, 480p progressive scan with 3:2 pull down, 3 line comb filter, digital convergence, two component video inputs and 1 s-video.

A prototype D-ILA rear projection TV coming out of Apex's strategic relationship with Advanced Digital Optics. There were no specifications available, but the picture was bright and fairly clean. []

The Revelation projector mount by Draper keeps the projector in the ceiling and uses one fixed mirror and one mirror mounted to a motorized trapdoor to reflect the image onto the screen.

Draper now offers a low gain (.8) gray screen material dubbed Hi-Def Gray. Lamped projectors can benefit from a low gain screen material. []
