A/V Source Components

Also a late addition to their CES line-up, this is one of Apex's forthcoming TV/DVD combos. The DVD section has the same specs as the AD-1200 DVD player -- pretty much all the basic Apex features and Kodak Picture CD compatibility. There will be two models - 20" and 27" with MSRPs of $399.95 and $549.95 respectively.

The $429 Apex HT200 Home Theater in a Box system. As you can see it comprises an all-in-one DVD player/receiver, 5 satellite speakers and a subwoofer (which appeared to be of the passive variety). It also has a couple of sets of AV inputs for other sources and has the now familiar list of compatibilities: DVD-Video, VCD, SVCD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, Kodak Picture CD and WMA. []
